About the Role As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth daily operation of a busy, quality-focused pub kitchen. You'll lead by example, support kitchen staff development, and help deliver consistent, well-executed pub classics and seasonal specials. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen management and service operations Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Lead, train, and mentor a diverse kitchen team Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met Contribute to menu development and specials Step up to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Support the group's standards and contribute to a positive team culture What We're Looking For Proven experience as a strong Sous Chef or Senior CDP ready to step up Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume pub setting Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations Team-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to quality To apply online, please click on the apply button.
